Philip Perks
Philip is a Senior Project Engineer with extensive experience in the construction industry. having provided both management and client liaison with a wide range of organisations. A Qualified Building Services Engineer with career development in Project Management.
Philip has been responsible for the implementation of a number of government framework contracts, including pre-acquisition and validation of developers’ proposals and installations for new property. Mechanical and electrical design responsibility for all fit-out and refurbishment works, including the remodelling of changes to the existing estate premises from inception to completion. As part of these framework contracts he has also carried out auditing of incumbent Maintenance Services Contractors.
He has provided the function of an Independent Handover Management and Validation Engineer for a number of major commercial and governmental projects.
He is particularly strong on evaluation and recommendations relating to trouble shooting of non performing building services, identifying areas for rectification.
Philip has been involved in the development of an Energy Monitoring Bureau to identify areas of energy savings relating to mode of operation and malfunction.
In the role of an Accredited Energy Assessor he has provided for both commercial and governmental clients, Energy Performance Certificates, Display Energy Certificates and Air Conditioning Reports.
