The Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment

To carry out a Domestic Energy Assessment and issue an Energy Performance Certificate, a Domestic Energy Assessor must achieve the Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment (DipDEA). This is a competence-based qualification gained through a process of assessment and examination. All candidates need to register with an assessment centre and build a portfolio of evidence.

EPC Solutions provides training for organisations and individuals

Register your organisation with EPC Solutions and we will work with you to take your surveyors through the assessment and training necessary for the DipDEA.
Additionally, anyone who has the commitment to succeed as a Domestic Energy Assessor can enrol at our training and assessment centre as an individual, whether they have surveying experience or not.
In both cases, EPC Solutions provides software to allow candidates to complete their obligatory five assessments and submit evidence at a time to suit them.
