Donald Lack, industry guru

Donald Lack is one of the UK's leading experts of real time intelligent metering, having developed and implemented a number of schemes within the last 10 years in both the public and private sectors. Donald recently completed the review of Hutchison Ports, Tames Port and Harwich Ports, which are now installing intelligent metering systems.

He has pioneered working with local authorities, private organisations and SMEs to audit buildings utilising a new methodology that includes automatic meter reading. Automatic meter reading helps reinforce behavioural change in buildings and aids carbon management, leading to a reduction in energy and water usage, helping improveme sustainability.

Donald has worked with a number of national organisations to help deliver their carbon management programmes through intelligent metering, including developing new implementation strategies to assist in the monitoring of carbon energy savings and certification of building performance.
