Donald Lack elected Chairman, East Midlands Branch of the Energy Institute
Donald Lack was elected to the post of Chairman of the branch for the next two years. The meeting was held at Leicester Town Hall, probably the most energy efficient Town Hall in Europe (Leicester is Britain’s first ‘Environment City’).
The next two years will particularly challenging in the field of energy management and the Energy Institute will be playing a key role underpinning the professionalism of its members.
“We have this one planet,” says Donald, “so we really must step up to improving its sustainability. The use or abuse of Energy is one of the key factors in this challenge, and every one of us has an opportunity to make a significant difference. Together with our members, look forward to working with the Energy Institute to meet this challenge.”
EPC Solutions is pleased that two of its senior members of staff were honoured last night with the election of Stewart Conway to the Committee to the East Midlands Branch and with Donald Lack being elected chairman.
