Qualified Air Conditioning Energy Assessors wanted - Diploma in Air-Conditioning Energy Assessment (DipACEA)
There is presently a shortage of assessors to carry out Air Conditioning Energy Assessments.
This shortage is likely to peak over the next twelve months. EPC Solutions is looking for suitable, qualified assessors to register their interest in helping cope with the expected rush of assessments by the end of December 2010.The Government has estimated that 358,640 commercial and air conditioning energy assessments must be carried out in 2009 and then each year after that. Companies are failing to comply with this legislation, which will cause a large backlog of assessments to be completed in 2010. This backlog must be completed by 4 January 2011 when companies could be fined for non-compliance. This will cause the price of surveys to rise rapidly next year due to high demand and a shortage of trained assessors.EPC Solutions Ltd provides all levels of energy assessments for commercial buildings. It is managed by a team of expert surveyors who all have over 20 years experience in energy efficiency. Vic Harrison, the MD, is also the Chairman of ecmk ltd, which operates approved training and Accreditation Schemes for DECs, EPCs, Advisory reports and Air Conditioning Reports in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. If you have a background in Air Conditioning or are a qualified surveyor or energy assessor, then ecmk can offer a special deal to train for the DipACEA, with free membership of the ecmk Accreditation Scheme. Once accredited, you can register with EPC Solutions to help us cope with the expected demand for assessments in 2010."ABBE DipACEA award for training new Air Conditioning Energy Assessors has now achieved full approval from OFQUAL"Please call Kersh Billington 08 456 123 999 to discuss and book onto the next available training course to be held in Milton Keynes. |
